Whitley Hayes is an ordinary girl with a gypsy heart. College is the only constant in her life. She’s made a lot of mistakes and she intends on keeping them in the past.
Move on and forget.
That’s her motto.
Jennings Cohen is no ordinary man—not at all. He would have never imagined his life would turn into such a spectacle. The tabloids exploit him, fans stalk him and the paparazzi are relentless. It’s not always fun being Jennings.
It doesn’t help that he has a secret. One that comes at a price he’s not sure he can pay.
Relationships get complicated and hearts shatter.
It’s not easy living a lie, but it’s easier than telling the truth.
“I very desperately want to kiss you.”
My mouth forms into a line. “And that’s bad because…?”
He takes a deep intake of air into his lungs and looks at me. I mean—really looks at me. Deep into my being. “Because I’m afraid if do, I won’t be able to stop.”
I elevate my body and collapse onto his chest. “Then, don’t.” If anything is like his previous kisses, I’m in for a passionate road ahead.
His hand reaches behind my head and I watch in slow motion as his beautiful face moves toward mine. The moment our lips touch, all of my other senses go haywire, feeling everything. Pleasure, need, hunger…want. So much want. I want everything he has to offer. In this moment, I don’t care what the future holds. I don’t care if he finds out about my shattered past and hates it. In this instant, I only care about him and the feelings he’s unleashing in and on my body.
His grip on my hair tightens as the kiss deepens. We moan together, feeling the pleasure poring from our bodies. His lips are sweet at first. Restrained and guarded. Almost as if he’s willing himself to slow down. But, I don’t want him controlled. I want him wild. I want him like the rain pours down. Taking no prisoners. The rain doesn’t care who it drenches; it just comes down, down, down. Soaking you. I want him forceful and firm, taking me how he wants. Just like the rain.
The thought of stopping makes me physically ill. This moment, being with him, in his warm, comforting embrace might be the most beautiful moment of my life. It’s heated and perfect. Stopping isn’t an option.
My hands move down his torso, taut and hard. His muscles move and bend under my touch and I feel myself growing wet as every second passes. The swirl of his tongue sends me high and I bite his bottom lip.
“I don’t think I’ve wanted anything or anyone as much as I want you, my Pretty Girl,” he hums in between kissing up and down my neck. “Nothing is as good as being with you. You have me soaring.”
He doesn’t have much time to say anything else before I’m pulling him up by his shirt, lifting it up and over his head. He grabs at my blouse, unbuttoning every button with detailed precision. When he opens my shirt, he simply stares, eyes electric. He puts his hand in between my breasts and just touches—feels.
“Come to bed with me. As much as I want you. Here. Now, I’ve gotta have you in bed. Slowly.”
I nod my head, unable to form any coherent words. It’s almost as if the hand that’s resting on my chest is somehow digging into my body, willing my heart to beat violently. He’s able to control me.
I wonder if I do the same.
I gently move off of his body and stand, watching him swing his legs off the couch. His body lifts and like a peacock, he looks big and alarming. Proud.
Grabbing my hand, he leads me up the stairs, stopping half way to pin me against the wall to thoroughly kiss me.
Hauling me to his room, he opens the door, turns on a small light on his nightstand and the cool air whooshes against my face. The blindingly white down blanket shines bright, but the dark, patterned pillows offset the brightness of the covers.
“Christ, you’re beautiful.”
Cassie Graham is the author of Unable to Resist. She also hates talking about herself. It makes her nervous and somewhat sweaty. So, she’s going to make this short.
While writing is her true passion, her family is even more important. Her ultimate happy place is sitting in her house with her husband and daughter while writing stories about lovers who are meant to be together. She’d live in that world forever if she could.
Title: The King
Author: Tiffany Reisz
Date of Publication: November 25, 2014
Cunning. Sex. Pure nerve. Only this potent threesome can raise him to his rightful place as ruler of Manhattan’s kink kingdom.
Bouncing from bed to bed on the Upper East Side—handsomely paid in both bills and blackmail fodder—Kingsley Edge is brilliant, beautiful and utterly debauched. No carnal act or chemical compound can relieve his self-destructive apathy—only Søren, the one person he loves without limit or regret. A man he can never have, but in whose hands Kingsley is reborn to attain even greater heights of sin. He plans to open the ultimate BDSM club: a dungeon playground for New York’s A-list that’ll change the scene forever.
The club becomes Kingsley’s obsession—and he’s enlisted some tough-as-nails help. His new assistant Sam is smart, secretive and totally immune to seduction (by men, at least). She and Kingsley make a wicked team. Still, their combined—and considerable—expertise in domination can’t subdue the man who would kill their dream. The enigmatic Reverend Fuller won’t rest until King’s dream is destroyed. It’s one man’s sacred mission against another’s….
When you open a book and you see names of characters that immediately slap a grin on your face and you get excited. THAT is what it was like when I read the first page of The King. Just seeing Grace instantly has me thinking of her Zachary and then having Kingsley at her door- OH MY.
There is just something about these three characters that no matter how their story is spun or how many time it’s been told, it’s like hearing it for the first time. Only this time with a little more detail. And from someone else’s perspective. Sure, we know how Søren met Nora and we know their in and outs like a well told fairy tale but have The King tell it make his bed time story all the more grand. And pleasant dreams.
As Kingsley begins his story time with Grace, we don’t know why exactly his reasoning is for his unannounced visit. Any outsider would question this group’s extensive relationship.
“The sanity part is up for debate, but you can’t question the love.”
Kingsley begins the night Søren is back in his life after years of separation. Years of being alone, their kind of alone. Haven’t spoken in all that time, you wouldn’t of known it. They easily fall into their normal comfortable back and forth banter. Although their lives-ever changing. Their relationship would never. It’s theirs and theirs alone. But, that time apart uneasiness and worrisome.
“I thought I would die without ever seeing you again, every day I thought that.”
“Thought or hoped?”
“Feared. My greatest fear.”
Without a doubt these two men are soul mates, life mates, forever mates. They share a history that no one else can relate to. We know just how deep their story is and I bet every fan of The Original Sinners series would share this same opinion. They belong together, but after life choices, can never truly really be together.
“You wanted him?”
“I wanted to hurt him.”
“Why didn’t you?”
“I didn’t love him?”
“You hurt me.”
“I loved you.”
“Well… Now you tell me.”
It’s like the best can’t-have-you type of love story. It’s beautiful and sad all wrapped up together. But quickly Søren speaks of the one string that we know will tie them together- forever. This just depends their ultimate love story. To hear Søren speak of Eleanor to the one of human being on this earth that he loves genuinely and with his everything is pure joy. To go back and see the emotion unfold, behind the scenes, it’s just breathtaking.
Although, their almost perfect circle consist of Eleanor, she isn’t in The King much. For me, I was perfectly happy with that. Because, Kingsley and Søren have enough of bond that I am ok taking a step away from having Nora in their circle. Because, we all know, before Eleanor was Nora something had to exist first. The king or the queen. The priest or the beast.
The Eighth Circle. I really enjoyed finding the depths of the back story about their Eighth Circle. Sam was a major key in this part and I thoroughly enjoyed her character. I liked seeing Kingsley with her. I like the Kingsley that was with her. I like his need to finally give Søren what he promised.
“I’m going to do something for you someday.”
“You do everything for me.”
“I wan to build you a castle.”
“I’ve had my fill of castles, Kingsley, What I need is a dungeon.”
You know the few reviews I’ve read has said it’s nothing new just the same story, but even though the destination is the same, hearing it from Kingsley means a different passage to get there. New depths, new feelings, new truths. I think it’s like a teenager who waits for the next music sensation’s video or interview. Just to have something new from someone they love. You want on pins and needles for just a glimpse, a smile, a few words. Any way I can keep having Kingsley, Søren and Nora on my kindle I will revert back to my teenage ways and wait. After finishing reading The King, I have to sit back and anxiously wait for this to go live just so I can live it again, but in audio!
“I can’t believe I did kink with a priest.” < Let’s see that on some t shirts!
“How much trouble am I in for getting out of the car without permission?” Kingsley asked.
“None,” Søren said, and Kingsley was wildly disappointed. “Let’s go. We can make it back to school by tonight.”
Kingsley followed him back to the car. The driver opened the door for them. When they were alone again, Kingsley said, “Or…”
“Or what?” Søren demanded.
“Or we could find a hotel and fuck in a real bed for once.”
“We’re not on a date. And here I was wondering where the real Kingsley had gone.”
“What do you mean?” he asked as the driver opened the car door for them. He slipped inside and Søren followed. They were on the road again before Søren answered.
“When you were with Claire—I wasn’t sure you were the same Kingsley I know and barely tolerate.”
“Why? Because I like kids?”
“You were good with her.”
“Kids are fun,” he said. What else was there to say?
“I never considered you would like children.”
“Well…I do. So what?”
“Nothing,” Søren said, laughing to himself. “Nothing at all.”
“I know you see me as some kind of pervert,” Kingsley said. “But believe or not, I am a human being. Yes, I like kids. I might want kids someday. I don’t have much of a family anymore. If I want a family I’ll have to make my own. Sometimes I have thoughts that don’t have anything to do with sex. I’m not just your toy, you know. I have feelings and—”
His impassioned “I have feelings” speech ended abruptly when Søren grabbed him hard by the back of the hair and brought his mouth down in a brutal kiss. Kingsley almost pulled away so he could finish his tirade before realizing he wanted the kiss so much more than the fight.
Kingsley returned the kiss with equal and greater passion. Søren yanked Kingsley’s jacket off him and threw it on the floorboard. Kingsley pulled his own shirt off and rolled on to his back on the bench seat. He’d remember the sensation of leather on his bare back all his life.
“Have you ever had sex in the back of a Rolls Royce?” Kingsley asked, trying not to rip Søren’s shirt in his rush to unbutton it. He needed Søren’s skin on his skin right now.
“No,” Søren said. “But ask me that question again in an hour.”
Before Kingsley could respond to that, Søren grabbed his wrists, pinned them over Kingsley’s head and kissed him again—deeper, slower, but no less punitive. Kingsley groaned, and Søren slapped a hand over his mouth.
“Quiet,” Søren said into Kingsley’s ear. “We aren’t alone, and I’ll gag you until you choke if I have to. Understand?”
Kingsley nodded against Søren’s hand. A curtain and partition separated them from the driver. He couldn’t see them, but if they were loud enough, he could hear them. He’d disobeyed Søren’s orders to stay in the car, he’d yelled at him and talked back. He was going to get it this time.
Søren kissed him again. Kingsley kept his sounds of pleasure to a minimum even when Søren reached between their bodies, unzipped Kingsley’s pants, and stroked him hard. Every muscle in Kingsley’s stomach tightened. He sucked in his breath sharply from the shock of pleasure. It took every bit of self-control not to moan audibly.
“You like this?” Søren asked.
“God, yes, so much,” Kingsley said, lifting his hips against Søren’s hand. He spoke in French and English. He was about to lose control of more than his language skills if Søren didn’t stop touching him like that.
“I think you like it too much.” Søren rose up on his knees and looked down at Kingsley.
“I don’t. I really don’t. I like it exactly as much as you want me to.”
“You’re pathetic when you’re turned on.”
“I am so pathetic right now.”

Tiffany’s books inhabit a sexy shadowy world where romance, erotica and literature meet and do immoral and possibly illegal things to each other. Q/A with Tiffany
-Do you have a favorite book or author you like to recommend? Do you have a comfort read?
I have a set of books I regularly recommend to people. Want to read amazing literature? Read my favorite novel of all time All the King’s Men by Kentucky author Robert Penn Warren. Want to read the most moving love story I’ve ever read? Read The Vintner’s Luck by Elizabeth Knox. My comfort reads are Sherlock Holmes short stories and Agatha Christie’s Poirot novels.
-What is your guilty pleasure?
I’d need to feel guilt to have a guilty pleasure. Buying office supplies I don’t need is probably the closest I get to a guilty pleasure. I buy them and think about all the people out there who don’t have awesome office supplies like I do and I feel bad for them.
Coffee and an ice cream sandwich is my version of a “Power Lunch.” The combination of tastes is glorious.
-If you weren’t a writer, what would you be?
My non-writer dream job is train engineer (what? I like trains). My realistic non-writer job would be working in a bookstore. That’s what I was doing when I started my writing career.
He makes me want to ease his sorrow. To know what broke his heart. To help him heal. When he’s near, my breath catches, my heart races, my body sings. His very presence ignites my soul with desire.
All I want is to love him.
I just wish he knew it. ~ Londyn Harper
She makes me want to open my heart. Ask her to love me. Tell her my secrets. She makes me want to try again. When she’s near, my heart begins to heal, my body yearns to touch her, the darkness disappears.
All I want is to love her.
I just need to tell her. ~ Luca Di Roma
Londyn thinks she could never get a man like him. Luca fears if she learns his secret, she will run. Does he have what it takes to love her? Could she love him back?
I have read other books by this author and my favorite was her Turns Towards the Sun Trilogy. I was captivated by her writing and have been a fan of her work ever since then. When I saw she was releasing a new book Londyn Falls I jumped at the opportunity to read it. The author has a way a writing a story where as a reader you can’t help but feel like you have become part of the characters in the books.
When I started reading Londyn Falls Luca the moody professor and his timid assistant Londyn grabbed my attention. The two characters were different and unique and I was eager to find out more about the characters. Londyn is a quiet, smart and timid person. She is at Harvard following her brother where she applies for a job with Professor Luca Di Roma. Luca is a very moody, a high tempered character so as far as first impressions go, they both were left speechless.
“I thought I was on time. I apologize.”
“I don’t tolerate lateness, Miss Harper, it’s extremely rude. Are you always so flustered, Miss Harper?”
“No, I’, just a bit nervous is all.”
Luca and Londyn are different from each other but yet have many things alike. Luca has a tragic past and he has not gotten over that pain so he keeps people away. Londyn is a strong-minded female character. She has worked hard to get where she is in her academics and working with the Professor is another one of her accomplishments. That is all it took. That one interview and now she is his assistant but the chemistry between the two was palpable.
Although the chemistry was there things between them did not occur fast. Londyn and Luca’s relationship was slow to happen. They were both smart and appreciated each other’s intellect. Luca knew that Lonydon’s presence was a calming one for him. He has never been able to keep an assistant for long periods of time but her knowledge and attitude slowly opened his heart again. Luca’s effect on Londyn was similar in nature. She slowly became more positive and challenging in her work and personal life. They really brought out the best in each other.
I will admit I was skeptical of Luca and his personality but the more we get to know his character I found myself falling in love with him. It turns out he is not that cold hearted person he comes off as. He is really quite the passionate man. There are times where we see his possessive side where Londyn is concerned. As he begins to realize and accept his feelings for her he slowly let’s go of his past to make way for his future with her. I enjoyed reading his inner dialogue and his battle to move on and forgive himself for his past. He knows he needs to do this if he wants a life with Londyn.
“You do something to me, Londyn. Something no one else ever has. Your presence calms me, your words nurture me. Your kiss heals me. I want to make love to you now. I need to be inside of you. DO you want this, Londyn?”
“More than anything?”
“The way I feel about you right now is overwhelming, I want all of you, every part. I want you to be mine. No one else’s”
“It’s not crazy. I want to be yours.”
I love that this story is told in both POV’s. Getting to know what the other is thinking and why they are the way they are. I love how their coming together is based on a strong foundation of respect even though they have issues they are able to find joy in each other. What will happen when Londyn learns the truth about Luca’s past? Will she understand or will she see him as a monster? When a nosey and sneaky student suspects something is going on between Luca and Londyn, will it send the pair running in opposite directions? Jennifer Domenico has created a story that is memorable, believable and touching. I found myself caught up in the characters and their lives and I was fully vested in them. Isn’t that what a good story does, gets you to feel like you are there, feel the emotions that are on print?
The professor sighs and leans back in his chair. “I can’t have you cowering in the corner like a frightened mouse. You need to speak up and say what you mean. Do you have an assertive bone in your body?”
“Well, use it.”
“Stop calling me that.”
“What shall I call you then?”
Every ounce of the minimal confidence I have left in me slithers away as I watch the professor rise from his chair and walk towards me. I do my absolute best to stay put and not run from the room like I want to. Placing both hands on either side of my desk, he leans close to me, staring into my eyes, daring me to flinch.
“You may call me Professor.”

Braydon Walker has always shared everything with his identical twin brother Brendon—hopes, dreams, career choices, and yes, even women. Known for tag-teaming their love interests in every way imaginable, Braydon is surprised and unnerved when he finds himself wanting to keep their newest lover all to himself. Will the twins’ relationship evolve to fit this new mold, or will Braydon’s desire for independence tear them apart?
OMG! OMFG!! Nicole Edwards is one of my favorite authors. She is an excellent writer that writes such lovely and intense love stories that are so sizzling hot I swear to god I suffer from JJBO (Josie Jodie Book Orgasms). I just knew this was going to be hot, steamy and so good. I was right! Where do I start, oh I know get some spare dry panties and keep them handy. Braydon is 6th book in the Alluring Indulgence series and we all know the Walker brothers love to share ;). Such is the case with Braydon and his identical twin brother Brendon. They share everything, dreams, careers and their women. A yummy twin sandwich. Sounds good to me, sign me up, right? Wrong Braydon all of sudden doesn’t feel like sharing anymore…Dun dun dun!! Braydon did not fail. This story was full of drama, anguish, love, steamy sex and two sexy ass cowboys.
Jessie was captivated with Braydon the moment she saw him however his twin was just as yummy. Although she was captivated with both the twins, she felt different with each. The more time she spent with the brothers the more she found herself gravitating towards Braydon. She was attracted to both but she felt something different, something more powerful for Braydon. Feelings she vowed she would never feel again.
Brendon and Braydon are going through an ordeal of their own. Brendon is used to sharing everything with his brother so when Cheyenne the woman he wants is not interested in his lifestyle he starts to act out. The problem is by acting out Brendon damages his relationship with his brother as well as with Jessie. Brendon can see that things are different between Braydon and Jessie. When he sees them together Brendon can tell that his brother is in love with Jessie. He is jealous that he doesn’t have what they seem to have with Cheyenne. He is also scared that Braydon is moving on and leaving him behind so he purposely tries to sabotage their relationship.
Braydon is having trouble dealing with his feelings and the possessiveness he feels towards Jessie. He leaves with saying goodbye and what awaits him is a broken hearted and angry Jessie and a damaged Brendon. When he finally returns that’s when he decides to be honest with himself. He wants Jessie, and only Jessie. That’s the one thing he knows for sure he is not willing to let Jessie go. He will do whatever it takes to earn her trust and claim her as his.
“I won’t keep you. But we really need to talk. Tell me a good time and I’ll come back”
“I really don’t think there’ll ever be a good time, Braydon.”
“Come on, Jess.”
“What you want isn’t important anymore.”
“This isn’t over, Jess. We’re gonna talk. Maybe not tonight, but it’ll be soon. I promise you that.”
I really loved this side of Braydon. He knew he was feeling something special for Jessie and he was willing to fight for her and their relationship. Things are not easy for them. There are so many obstacles and bumps along the road for them. Braydon feels the need to be there for his brother and while doing so he ends up leaving Jessie on more than one occasion. Jessie does not want to cause problems between the brothers and she can see that Brendon has a problem with Braydon moving on without him. When Braydon and Jessie finally come together their relationship gets really hot and steamy.
“If it were up to me, I’d strip you right here and slide my co*k deep inside you. I’d remind you of what you’ve been missing. What we’ve both been missing. Once I’m inside you again, I’m not going to stop. I’m gonna fu*k you until you’re screaming my name. MY NAME, Jess. Do you understand me?”
“This is the absolute best place in the world, Right here, deep inside you.”
Put your hand beneath mine. I want to feel you finger your pu**y.”
“I need you. I need to be inside you. I need to feel you up against me, Jess. It’s the only thing I can think of.”
I really enjoyed reading Braydon. We get to see more of the Walker brothers, Zoey, Vanessa and Gage. I loved reading about the turmoil and confusion that Braydon and Jessie go through. I loved Jessie’s character in this book. She was not going to just sit back and let Braydon and Brendon walk all over her. I loved seeing how Braydon fought for the woman he loved. I didn’t think he had it in him. I have so much of this book highlighted. I just love Nicole Edwards writing. She always keeps me entertained, engaged and consumed with her characters. I can’t wait for the next book in this series. This was definitely is one you do not want to miss out on. This series is fantastic so you know you won’t be disappointed.

Book Title: What’s Left of Us
Author: Amanda Maxlyn
The heartwarming conclusion to What’s Left of Me.
Love found me three years ago.
I’m cancer free, happily married to the love of my life, and working toward my dream career.
Our life is complete. Perfect, really.
Or is it?
I’ve always wanted a family of my own, but never dreamed I could have one. Now Parker’s ready to make my dream our reality.
But sometimes our dreams are haunted by our deepest fears. Fears of failure, having a child, and in our case … death. How do I help the person I love get over his fear when I’m still trying to overcome that same fear myself?
Together we must learn What’s Left of Us.
What’s Left Of us is a great ending to this series. I really enjoyed getting to see a continuation on what was happening in Aundrea and Parker’s lives since the first book. Amanda did a fabulous job concluding their love story.
3 years after Aundrea is cancer free they are learning how to move on from the past even though her heart condition is still at the fore front in their minds. Both Aundrea and Parker have to face each one of their fears as they build their lives together and make their dreams happen.
I really felt like I could identify and understand where each of their fears stemmed from. I can just imagine how scary it would be to live through what Aundrea has. Moving forward with life and wanting to start a family after cancer can’t be easy and I can just imagine the kinds of thoughts and fears a couple would have. Amanda really gives a front row seat on how they deal with all these issues together and the process they take to make all their dreams come true.
Parker was amazing in this story. I love how supportive and loving he is. I could really feel how deeply in love with Andrea he is. I love how they were each others rocks when they let their fears get the best of them. I love how deeply they were connected.
This story has some sad moments. I truly felt a strong connection to Amy and I was so glad we got to hear her wisdom and advice. What I really took away from her was that no matter what has happened in your past or what you’ve been through live for today and don’t ever stop making your dreams come true.
I want to congratulate Amanda on a fantastic series. Cancer sucks, living with heart issues suck but life is beautiful and good things will happen even when you have set backs.

Life works in mysterious ways.Four years ago I became known as the girl with cancer. I refuse to cry. And I refuse to give in. A relationship with a man is the last thing I’m looking for right now, but one night with Parker changes everything. He is persistent, and he knows what he wants. Me. He doesn’t treat me like I’m fragile. But he doesn’t know, and I’m not ready to tell him. What if it changes everything? Tragedy found me when I was seventeen. Love found me when I was twenty-one. My name is Aundrea McCall, and this is my journey.
I am the mother of two little boys, married to the love of my life, and living in one of the smallest towns in Minnesota. When I’m not chasing or cleaning up after my boys (yes, all three), I can be found writing or snuggled up with my kindle, a glass of wine, and spending time with my fictional friends and family.
I am first and foremost an avid reader! I love to read anything romance from paranormal, young/new adult, contemporary, and even yes, (wide eyes) erotic/BDSM.
