About BUILT

From the New York Times and USA Today bestselling author of the Marked Men books comes an electrifying new spin-off series,Saints of Denver, featuring all the characters fans have been dying to read about.

Sayer Cole and Zeb Fuller couldn’t be more different. She’s country club and fine-dining, he’s cell-block and sawdust. Sayer spends her days in litigation, while Zeb spends his working with his hands. She’s French silk, he’s all denim and flannel.

Zeb’s wanted the stunning blonde since the moment he laid eyes on her. It doesn’t matter how many smooth moves he makes, the reserved lawyer seems determinedly oblivious to his interest—either that or she doesn’t return it. Sayer is certain the rough, hard, hot-as-hell Zeb could never want someone as closed off and restrained as she is, which is a shame because something tells her he might be the guy to finally melt her icy exterior.

But just as things start to heat up, Zeb is blindsided by a life altering moment from his past. He needs Sayer’s professional help to right a wrong and to save more than himself. He can’t risk what’s at stake just because his attraction to Sayer feels all consuming. But as these opposites dig in for the fight of their lives, battling together to save a family, the steam created when fire and ice collide can no longer be ignored.

Excerpt

As though my intense and swirling thoughts had pulled Zeb into the vortex of self-pity I was struggling in, my phone vibrated in my hand with a message from him as I wandered aimlessly through the empty rooms.

I shivered at the sight of his name and then silently scolded myself for having such a powerful reaction to only his name on the screen. His message was simple but for some reason it felt full of more meaning and emotion than the three words staring up at me indicated.

                Can you talk?

I bit my lip and decided how to answer. I didn’t talk to my clients after office hours were done for the day and I was already having a really hard time keeping the professional and personal lines clear where he and this case were concerned. I sighed and tapped out:

I can. Do you want me to call you?

I had started this process as his friend first and it wasn’t fair to him that my heart was pulling itself apart because of his situation. He was probably nervous and scared about what was coming next week, and I was the only one who could put some of that at ease.

There wasn’t a response for a long couple of minutes and I hated that all I could do was stare at my phone and pace back and forth while I waited to see what he was going to say. I was acting like a teenager and it was ridiculous. I snorted at myself and was headed into the kitchen to pour myself a glass of wine when the phone rang and made me jump. I wasn’t prepared for him to call me right that moment and had a bout of anxiety about answering the call before I told myself to man up and swiped my finger across the screen.

“Hey. Everything all right?” I heard a car honk its horn wherever he was calling from, and he mumbled something that wasn’t directed at me before answering.

                “Fuck no.”

The Lie AMAZONTheir love led to a lie.

Their truth led to the end.

Scottish enigma Brigs McGregor is crawling out from the ashes. After losing his wife and son in a car accident – and, subsequently, his job – he’s finally moving forward with his life, securing a prestigious teaching position at the University of London and starting a new chapter in the city. Until he sees her.

Natasha Trudeau once loved a man so much she thought she’d die without him. It took years of moving on to forget him, and now that she’s in London, she’s ready to start over again.

Until she sees him.

Because some loves are too dangerous to ever rekindle.

And some loves are too powerful to ignore.

Can you ever have a second chance at a love that ruined you?

Monster Screw by Kendall Ryan Release Day Blitz

MSboxsetbanner

Monster Screw (1)First there was SCREWED.

Then there was MONSTER PRICK.

Now…

… There’s MONSTER SCREW!!!!

This brand new boxed set features both New York Times, USA Today, and Wall Street Journal mega-bestselling sexy, FUNNY, HOT romances for one low price. Just $2.99 on release day, and $5.99 after.

So, are you ready for your MONSTER SCREW??

About Screwed

I’m young, fit, attractive, and loaded. Not to mention I’m packing a sizable bulge below the belt. It’s a combination that drops panties on a regular basis.

Yay, me, right?

But my cock, troublemaker that he is, has been confined to my trousers by my business partner. A concession I agreed to, and one that’s never been hard to enforce until Emery moves in across the hall. She’s smart, young, determined, and sexy as hell. I want a taste. I won’t stop until I’m buried deep inside the succulent new-in-town brunette.

After being warned about my past, she does her best to steer clear, but I’m about to show her that underneath it all, I’m a guy with a heart of gold and a cock of steel.

My name is Hayden Oliver, and this is my story.

About Monster Prick

Over my dead body.

That’s what I told Gracie when she informed me of her plan to pick some random guy she met online to get rid of her pesky virginity.

If anyone is touching her, it’s going to be me.

I shouldn’t even be considering it, but I can’t get it out of my head: her, under me, begging me.

***

Arrogant. Cocky. Prick.

Those are the words I’d use to describe my older brother’s dangerously handsome best friend.

When he learned of my plan to kick off my white cotton briefs, ditching my good girl persona once and for all by losing my virginity to the first eligible bachelor I could find, he flipped out. Said over his dead body.

He says if anyone’s going to do it, it’s going to be him.

I hate that I’m even considering his offer.

But I am … I sooo am.

Ever since he suggested it, all I can think about is his cocky smile on those full lips as he’s driving in to me.

But if we cross that line … will I ever be able to go back?

MONSTER PRICK, a sexy romantic comedy, is a spin off novella from SCREWED, but can be read as a standalone, as it features a new couple.

Megan's review

3 stars

Without having this book even out yet the allure of all the 5 stars made a huge decision in whether to give this a try or not. Ending this year with many duds I found myself still in search of that one last awesome read of the year. The one that moves me. The one that made me hang on for the entire ride without wanting to loose grip. As I started First Touch I wondered how I’d feel at the end of it.

I was quickly thrown into a book of questions and a in the moment kind of story. You caught up as you went. Slightly. As the story was told, you wondered the all-important questions- the who and the why. Never getting a full in your face answer.

I have to say I read word for word up until the halfway point. After I finally got there I couldn’t stick to it anymore. I speed-read to get some answers. To get to the end. I caught on that the reader is supposed to not really know what is happening. I see the reason for suspense and mystery but I came to a point where I didn’t care. Sure, there were times where I had to know, just for the sane purpose of my mental being. And of course the allure of the male lead was pivotal to all these delusions surrounded Amber and Emily. Reeve was a man. A suspicious hot man. He was beyond alpha. He was Reeve Sallis.

“I’m certain your mouth feels good. I’ve kissed it and I have a good imagination. I’m more curious about your cunt.”

But for the life of me I never felt why she had any type of attraction to him when things changed. When did they change? I didn’t see the connection. The pull. Sure the allure of this man, I get that. And of course of original reason makes all kinds of stupid sense but to keep it up. To keep coming back. Hell guess he was that good!! Certainly not for the faint of heart. There is your warning!!

And though I’d keep searching for Amber- always-she no longer mattered in my relationship with Reeve. Without her, I’d still be consumed with him, obsessed with him. Owned by him.

Reeve was the reason I never gave up on First Touch. Even with the skimming. There was something about his wickedness and his horrible mouth that I liked. But it was also the suspense that flowed around him that I just had to know. I have to know. Even in all the history of books past I think I figured my own conclusion but for some Reeve reason I had to see it with my own eyes. I can’t even say if I believed it all either. Towards the downhill of this book as a few secrets were revealed I intrigued and liked the rush of the suspense gave me.

As far as the next book? We all know there is a next book, so, there lies no secret. But, even with my skipping so much, part of me still needs to see this through. The question is, will I read it immediately? Or will I just review stalk?

Guess time will tell!

USA Today and New York Times Bestselling Author Laurelin Paige is a sucker for a good romance and gets giddy anytime there’s kissing, much to the embarrassment of her three daughters. Her husband doesn’t seem to complain, however. When she isn’t reading or writing sexy stories, she’s probably singing, watching Game of Thrones or The Walking Dead, or dreaming of Adam Levine.  Sunday
night
“Honey, you need to get laid,” Blaze bellowed before tossing
back another shot of tequila. “You know, by some outrageously hot guy who’s
gonna pin you against the wall and make you beg for mercy.”
I tossed my shot back before I answered her. “Not gonna
happen.”
“Please don’t tell me that Adrian was the last guy you got
horizontal with.” Blaze’s expression turned serious. “That dude’s the world’s
biggest douche.”
“Can’t argue with you there,” I told her, pouring another
shot. The last thing I wanted to do tonight was talk about Adrian. Or anyone,
for that matter.
I’d spent the entire day at the shop handling three
walk-ins, all of whom had wanted tattoos that took more time to prepare for
than to actually ink. And now, I wanted to sit back, get wasted, then pass out
and sleep until I felt better.
“How was the sex with him, anyway?”
“With who?” I asked, playing dumb.
Blaze narrowed her eyes at me. “Adrian.”
I didn’t miss a beat before I said, “Boring.”
“Really?” Blaze snorted. “I always heard rock stars had it
going on.”
“Yeah, well, I think rock stars are the ones who started
that rumor.”
Blaze grabbed her shot glass. “You’re probably right about
that.”
We downed two more shots, and our laughter continued until
the front door opened and in walked Gavin.
As soon as he stepped in the doorway, he stopped cold,
watching the two of us closely.
“Wussup, Gav?” Blaze greeted him, her words slurring. She
looked at me and grinned. “He’s an outrageously hot guy,” Blaze said in what
she probably assumed was a whisper but wasn’t.
“I definitely am,” he agreed, that mischievous smirk on his
face. “Is this party just gettin’ started? Or are we about to turn on the
decision-maker lights?” Gavin closed the front door behind him and tossed his
coat onto one of the barstools, his eyes never straying from us.
“The night’s still young,” Blaze informed him. “Can’t say
the same about you, though.”
Gavin continued to watch us. “How much have you had?”
“Not enough,” I admitted, reaching for the bottle to pour
more shots. “Now quit acting like an old man and come drink with us.”
“Hold up,” Blaze said, snatching the bottle out of my hand.
“Not until he pays the ten-dollar buy-in fee.”
“Buy-in?” A crease formed in Gavin’s forehead. “What the
hell’s a buy-in fee? This ain’t poker.”
Blaze pointed a finger in his direction. “I paid for the
booze, and you gotta buy in if you want some. Ten dollars.”
Gavin grabbed his wallet out of his back pocket, flipped it
open, and pulled out a five-dollar bill, then tossed it in Blaze’s lap.
“Dude, who’s the one who’s been drinkin’ tonight?” Blaze
slurred. “That ain’t ten bucks.”
“No, but you bought cheap booze, so there’s a fifty percent
discount.”
“Fine. Whatever.” Blaze snatched up the money and tucked it
into her bra.
I smiled at Gavin. “Grab another shot glass.”
After a quick detour to the kitchen, Gavin returned, setting
his glass down beside the other two, then dropping onto the couch beside Blaze.
With an unsteady hand, Blaze filled all three but ended up
with more on the glass table than in the shot glasses.
“What’re we drinking to?” Gavin asked.
“Hot guys nailing us to the wall,” Blaze blurted.
I rolled my eyes.
“Ain’t no guy nailing me to the wall,” Gavin grunted. “Hot
or otherwise.”
For whatever reason, I found that funny and ended up downing
my shot and nearly shooting it out of my nose.
“I’ve got a question,” Blaze said when the laughter died
down.
“No questions from you tonight,” I said immediately,
glancing over at Gavin.
As usual, Blaze ignored me. “I wanna know why the two of you
have never had sex.”
“Not a question,” Gavin grumbled.
“Okay, fine,” Blaze snapped. “Have the two of you ever had sex?”
“Eww. No,” Gavin and I said in unison.
“Are you fucking serious?” Blaze did not sound convinced.
I placed my shot glass on the table but waved Blaze off when
she started to pour me another. “Dead serious.”
“Why?” She looked genuinely confused.
“Because he’s not my type?”
Blaze’s eyes bounced back and forth between us before
landing on me. “But he’s hot.”
Yeah, well, I didn’t think so. “I don’t see him like that.”
Gavin was watching Blaze intently and I knew this wasn’t
going to be good. For the longest time, I’d gotten the impression that these
two had a thing for one another. Although Blaze pretended to be interested in
other guys—or maybe she wasn’t pretending—I got the feeling that if Gavin told
her to get naked, she’d do it in under three seconds flat.
“What about you two?” I asked, realizing the liquor was now
talking for me. “Why haven’t the two of you
hooked up?”
Gavin grabbed the bottle and poured another shot, but I
noticed he didn’t answer. I looked at Blaze.
“Y’all are best friends,” she said, as though that made some
kind of sense.
“So?”
“So, you and I are best friends,” Blaze added.
“Does that make us all best friends?” I asked, trying to do
the math in my head.
“No,” Gavin noted. “It means we’re not willing to sacrifice
that friendship.”
“Oh.” I watched the two of them for a moment. Then it dawned
on me what he meant. “Oooh.

Synopsis

My story isn’t a love story … not the typical kind anyway.

As a lawyer, I’m used to discovery, but I never saw this one coming.

Every day, River gives me ten reasons to stay away, and then eleven reasons why I can’t. Our relationship was to remain strictly business, or at least I tried.

Four years of marriage, and everything with Cole has changed. I never knew two people who lived together could be so distant. But I’m not ready to give up on him.

One man wants to break me.

The other is just trying to get even.

Both are lying to me.

excerpt

River sets a tray down on the counter, startling me. “You do that a lot?”

“Do what?” I ask, relieved to distract myself from the pressure of the situation.

          “Bite your lip.”

“I was just thinking,” I admit, resisting the pull the ocean has on me.

He cups my face in his hands. “Don’t let yourself ruin this weekend by overthinking anything. It’s ours, and I’m not willing to give it up yet.”

I open my mouth to speak, but he kisses me instead. The picture within the clear blue water fades. River kisses me until I’m blind of my worries and guilt. Whoever said an ocean is better than a river has never met my River.

“Better?” he asks as he pulls away.

“Much.” I watch as he sits on the edge of the tub and turns the water off. When I first met him, I saw him differently. His compassion was veiled by arrogance. If River Holtz wanted, he could make a woman happy for more than a night.

He motions me over to where he sits.

I lift myself from the counter, slowly walking to him. When I’m close enough, he reaches for me, pulling me against his rock hard body. His chin rests on my chest as he looks up at me. “You’re mine until tomorrow morning. Don’t forget that.”

I comb my fingers through his hair. “I haven’t. And, I also haven’t forgotten that after I leave here tomorrow, we’re nothing.”

“Not true,” he says, kissing between my breasts. “I’ll always be the guy you wish you could have again. The one you’ll compare everyone else to.”

Kim's Review

5 stars

I’m definitely a fan of Lisa De Jong’s books so when I read the blurb for this one I knew I had to get my hands on it as soon as possible. AND let me tell you I was NOT disappointed!!

Marley and Cole have been together for years. They are both attorneys who own a firm together and have made a good life for themselves. However, what good is power and wealth in a relationship without sex, love, affection and communication? Clearly, something major is missing from their marriage. If I was in her position I honestly don’t know if I would’ve been able to put up with it as long as Marley did. I could understand her wanting to give their marriage another shot. I don’t know many people who would want their marriage to fail but at the same time I was also thinking enough already!

Enter River Holtz…hello sex on a stick at table 1!! River is a wealthy businessman who knows what he wants and goes after it. He is looking to build a club in town and needs Marley’s help getting the town’s approval. Marley is reluctant to help him but also wants to prove to Cole she can do it. The minute you meet River he completely captivates you and demands your attention. His arrogance is even charming. I was all fuck Cole, give me River!! I don’t understand how Marley was able to resist him for as long as she did.

I’m going to stop with my little summary of this story here because this is one book you don’t want anyone to give anything away. Do you remember the part in the blurb that says:

“One man wants to break me.
The other is just trying to get even.

Both are lying to me.”

Do you?? Than I promise you, you’re in for one hell of a ride! Things aren’t always as they seem and at some point shit is going to hit the fan!

If you are not a fan of cheating no matter what the factor than this book is not for you. BUT if you can take a book for what it is worth than I promise you this story is completely worth it. Besides the secrets, lies, ohhh and some yummy hot sex…this book is also a story of learning your own self worth and just what you are and aren’t willing to live with. Once you get to the end you’ll be going through a stream of emotions…love, hate, pissed the fuck off, sad and maybe even happy!

Once I finished I just kept thinking standalone? Are you fucking kidding me?!! DAMN IT LISA GIVE ME MORE!!! PLEASE?!!!!!

The first night I saw Pearl, I knew I wanted her. What I was not ready for, was her fighting against this attraction we have. I want her, I don’t care that she has kids, or that she doesn’t know shit about the type of life I have. She thinks that the fact that she’s ten years older than me is an issue… it’s not. But the biggest thing she’s mistaken on is the fact that she thinks this thing between us is just a casual thing. She will be mine and there is almost nothing that could happen to come between us.
Or is there?

This is part one in the Devil’s Iron MC series.

WARNING: contains explicit situations and graphic violence

For this being this author’s debut novel, I think she did a really good job. I love my MC books, so naturally after reading the title and blurb I jumped at this opportunity. Tank’s Pearl is not a long read and some readers might find certain topics the author broached upon offensive and inappropriate. However for me, I enjoyed it. It fit the story line the author was bringing to readers. The couple in Tank’s Pearl come from different circles of life, but somehow a chance encounter will bring their two worlds crashing into one another. The author tells the story in alternate POV’s by Tank and Pearl but we are also given a glimpse in to the Prez’ aka Blaze’s mind as well.

Tank’s Pearl shows that despite differences, physical. age and lifestyle love has no preference. Tank is 29 to Pearls 38, but that does not matter to Tank. Once Tank sees Pearl at a local dive bar, he is immediately fascinated by this woman. A brief conversation shared between the two, has Tank’s mind thinking of all things Pearl. Despite them not seeing each other for a month, Pearl is all that Tank can think about, and a man like Tank always gets what he wants. Tank is a rough and tough man. He has to be since he is the VP of Devil’s Iron. But we also get to see a caring and gentler side to this big brawny man. Pearl and her two beautiful girls will bring him to his knees. Tank never thought he would want to settle down but the more time he spends with Pearl and the girls, he sees a future, something he never knew he wanted. Tank is a total Dom and on more than one occasion he lets that side take over completely. He will do whatever it takes to make Pearl his.

Pearl is a woman that many can relate to. She is a widower and a single mother of two cute little girls. Her focus has been on her children and not on any man especially one that she feels comfortable enough to bring around her children. She is skeptical of Tank, but yearns for this man more than she cares to think. When their paths cross again after a month, she can no longer deny her feelings for him.

I really enjoyed this book because not only was there some really dirty, hot and sexy scenes going on but Tank and Pearl have an actual relationship. They talk to one another, opened up to each other and shared their inner thoughts, desires and their proclivities. They both shared a respect for the BDSM life style and respected what they had with one another. If only things could be so easy for the couple, there is an enemy MC intent on causing trouble and a Biker Bunny who can’t let go. There are possible triggers in this book and even I had to stop a moment to collect myself, but this is an MC book, and their lives are far from pretty. Is Tank’s love for Pearl deep and strong enough to stand in their darkest hour? Can Tank and Pearl’s world unite to form one big happy family? This is definitely the beginning of a great series and I can’t wait to see what else this author has in store for us.

This was a cute Novella about Moira and Zach years later after they are married and have two children. Moira wants to go back to work and Zach likes the idea of her being home.

“The minute your sperm punched through my egg, it got hectic. But I suspect this happens a lot to marriage when kids and life get in the way.”

This story touched on a lot of the issues that comes into play after being married for a while and having children. The kids were great in this book and I loved that Zach was still his caveman self at times.

You really felt the connection and love between these two. I loved how they truly trusted each other. The book had some funny parts and a few parts that pulled at your heartstrings. The characters were on point and I really enjoyed reading this story. Once I started this book I did not stop until I was finished. I was a little pissed at the end though. I felt like the author left me hanging with questions I still wanted answered.

“We got lost for a bit, but when it boiled right down to it… Moira and I were created and exist solely for the benefit of each other. We are a team. We are one. We are love.”

Through A Glass, Darkly (The Assassins of Youth MC #1) by Layla Wolfe Release Blitz

Synopsis

MAHALIA: I didn’t want to be born. Something went wrong along the way, and I’ve been unsure about my purpose on this earth ever since. If I was hit by a car, if I fell off a cliff, would anyone care? Living in Cornucopia with my sister wives under the watchful eye of our husband, Allred Lee Chiles, has turned me into a robot, unable to feel or think for myself. I’ve been looking through a cloudy glass, not trusting myself or others.

But a man came down from the mountains. I’m captivated by Gideon Fortunati, his name expressing all that he is—keeper of my fate, master of reality, teacher of my future. Gideon’s purifying power has enlightened me about my capabilities. I don’t have to let The Prophet take my daughter and marry her off to that old man. I was guilty of dirt and sin, but I can take my life back now.

GIDEON: I was exiled to this godforsaken wasteland in Utah by our MC Prez. My entire existence has been a struggle, a futile tirade against my maker. I ranted against my fate, and in answer I was sent Mahalia. A naive victim of that twisted false Mormon sect leader. He’s tried to mangle her like a spineless puppet, like he has all the other women—the other girls.

Before I met her, I was a child. Now I’ve given up childish ways, and I can see everything in a mirror, face to face. Faith, hope, and love were all handed to me, and the greatest of these is love. I’ve come too far. There’s no surrender now.
It didn’t look that far on the map.

This is the not my first rodeo with this author, I have read her Bare Bones MC books and loved them all. Ms. Wolfe is a talented author that goes outside the box and is not afraid to touch on subjects that some might shy from. This book is no exception. This particular story deals with underage arranged marriage, beatings, forced sex, male prostitution and a Prophet of the Mormon Church with his own dark vision. The story is told in alternate POV’s and the author shows readers how the two main characters lives changed after their first encounter.

Gideon was exiled to Utah by the President of the Assassins of Youth after hitting on his old lady. Gideon job’s was to help Prophet Allred run guns and set up a new chapter in that end. Gideon is your typical Biker. Loves booze and women, but he never expected that his punishment would send him right into the path of a beautiful olive skin woman, Mahalia. It was nice to see how this tough, strong and rough biker fell for this beautiful, smart and innocent woman. Right from their first encounter he had this need where he wanted to protect her, but he was confused by his feelings.

Mahalia is different from the woman in her church. She choose to stand out with her red garb Her and her daughter are both sent to the Prophet after her husband dies where she is married off to him. Mahalia is miserable with her life, but that is the only life she has known. She does what is demanded from her, right down to the beatings from her husband and the cruel and vicious sexual acts he demands. When she cross paths with Gideon she is immediately taken by this gorgeous man. She has always thought of ways to leave, but never had the courage. When her daughter Vonda is to be sealed into marriage with an older man, she knows she must run.

Things are not as they appear behind the gates. There are so many secrets that have been long buried. What I enjoyed most about this story was the development of Gideon and Mahalia’s relationship. I love how it transpired over time. The two had so much in common, their need to be safe, to belong and their love of poetry. Gideon and Mahalia discover a love neither knew could exist. There are so many twists and turns that emerge during this story, my heart was jumping at nearly every page. I cried for Mahalia and the women that suffered at the very hands of their husbands and for the children that endure such pain. Can Mahalia and Gideon get their HEA? Will the prophet let Mahalia and her daughter escape to freedom? Will all the secrets behind the Prophet and his followers come to light? If you love a MC romance read with a dark twist than this is a book for you. You are going to want to click.

Finding Serenity (A story of unexpected love) by T.E. Black Cover Reveal

 Title: Finding Serenity

Author: T.E. Black
Genre: Contemporary Romance
Published: January 11, 2016

When it was good, it was great. When it was bad, it was worse.

My life turned into a whirlwind of destruction before I even got the chance to love her.

She could have been my angel, my saving grace; I never gave her the chance.

I gave myself a taste of her angelic kiss, convincing her to love with everything she had. Then I destroyed her. I destroyed both of us and I felt nothing as I did it.

I didn’t feel anything in my sorry state.

We both had secrets and both of them would have destroyed us in one way or another. Hers could have possibly been bigger than mine, but I doubted it from the start. I knew I had the quality of devastation within me the entire time.

After all, I’m the king of lies. I’m the king of addiction. I’m the king of turmoil. I’m the king of motherfucking heartbreak.

This being T.E.’s debut, I’m blown away with her writing. You’d think she’s been a writer a long time and has a bunch of books published… Nope. This is her first and I know in time, her books are only going to get even better. She has become a favorite author of mine even with just reading one book.” ~ Brianna’s Bookish Confessions

“For a debut novel, I was thoroughly impressed from the first page all the way to the end. The author did a wonderful job sucking me in with a very intense prologue. I couldn’t flip the pages fast enough just to see how Callie’s story would unfold.” ~Author M.M. Koenig

I have fallen in love for T.E. Black’s debut novel Finding A Way. The story is well written and from the very beginning it will captivate you and will not allow you to put the story down until the end.~ Swoon Worthy Books
