Rosa – “Oh my goodness what an emotionally beautiful love story.”
Marsha – “This had a lot of feels.”
Brandy Roberts – “I can’t wait to read more by J.E Parker who did a amazing job telling a story.”
Every Moment With You was exquisitely well written. It was emotional, yet not full of angst. This book has romance but it also deals with issues like child abuse, alcoholism, depression and gambling. The author shows readers the damage these issues leave behind. Get some tissues because the author doesn’t sugar coat things at all.
This story of Hendrix and Maddie journey starts off when these two are very young. The author takes us on a slow paced journey showing readers all about their lives. We see them grow from friends to lovers over the years but what was special was that at 8 years old both felt a pull to one another, they were too young to understand at that time. Hendrix had an awful and painful life but Maddie was his light through those times. They were always together until Maddie leaves for college and Hendrix’s fathers debts are called in.
This story of love was unwavering despite choosing what’s best for the other. Their love never faltered through distance, space and time. I enjoyed that the most about this story the author never wavered from that part. We see from their young ages the love they shared and I admire the author for showing neither character could give up on that love. Years later we see an older, wiser and matured Hendrix and Maddie fight to overcome lies, secrets and betrayals. Is their live strong enough once all truths come tumbling out? What a great read full of love, redemption and second chances, I highly recommend this book.
J.E. Parker is an American romance author who was born and raised in the great state of North Carolina. A southern belle at heart, she’s addicted to sweet tea, Cheerwine, and peach cobbler.
Not only is J.E. married to the man of her dreams (albeit a total pain in the rear), she’s also the mother of a herd of sweet (sometimes), and angelic (only when they’re sleeping) children. Despite their occasional demonic behavior and bottomless stomachs, J.E. loves her little tribe more than words could ever express.
On the weekends, you can find her sitting on the couch, cheering on (or cursing) her favorite football team, stuffing her face with junk food, and guzzling a bottle of cheap red wine.
When she’s not busy making sure her husband doesn’t burn the house down or acting as a referee for her fighting children, J.E. enjoys reading, writing (obviously), and listening to a wide variety of music.
