Lieutenant Dustin Strauss is a reformed man. No longer a twentysomething hell-raiser, he’s his SEAL team’s new XO—and a man with a secret. Or seven. He’s kept his bisexual identity under wraps for years, along with his kinky side and a fondness for the military-themed semianonymous hookup website Joe4Joe. His latest chat buddy is more than a sexy online distraction—they’re taking their very not-safe-for-work relationship into real time.
Petty Officer Wes Lowe has a smart mouth, a take-charge attitude and an uncanny ability for making things go boom. The life of an enlisted man isn’t always enough to satisfy him, but one wild, no-questions-asked weekend with his online love comes close. When a transfer order comes in, Wes feels ready and centered. He’ll make a good impression on his new SEAL team and keep his growing feelings for Dustin on the down low.
But as they log more time online and some very real emotions surface, Dustin and Wes struggle to pretend they’re just a harmless fling. And when his commander introduces Dustin to his team’s newest member, they’re in for the shock of a lifetime…and a crushing disappointment: their difference in ranks means even a friendship without sexual contact could end their navy careers for good.
With their hearts on the line, Dustin and Wes may not survive their next mission, let alone find a way toward a future together.

This story is a story of a forbidden romance and it has it angst, drama, heartache and kinky sex. All the things I love in a story.
Dustin is bisexual, he’s good at flirting and coming on to females but not confident with males. While on a military dating site he meets Wes and the two decide to meet up in DC after many months of talking to one another. There first meeting or interaction was comfortable, two friends getting together, no pressure. Well that was the plan anyways. Wes understood Dustin’s discomfort about coming out. What ends up happening is one pretty smoking hot night, one that opens Dustin up to wanting more.
Dustin is a lieutenant and a kick ass Navy Seal. I swear to you I can picture what this character looks like based on his description, gorgeous, rugged and huge. He’s loyal, passionate and strong.
Wes has recently joined the SEALS and his specialty is explosives. He is a good person who loves his family and I feel for him instantly. He has a sister with a life threatening heart disease and his love, devotion and unconditional love gave me goosebumps.
Dustin and Wes are perfect for each other. Dustin has to be in control in uniform and with his team but behind closed doors he loves to give up the resigns. Wes follows orders all day that’s his job but in the bedroom he loves giving the orders and being in control.
The chemistry between them after their first meeting was hot and I also felt their connection. I couldn’t help but notice they were meant to be. But life in the military and fully coming out through a wrench in their plans because guess who is Wes’ new commanding officer, Dustin. Fraternization is frowned upon could put their hard earned careers at risk.
I loved how they both tried to do the right thing but the heart wants what the hearts wants. There’s some drama for both men but they looked out for one another, nurtured and cared for one another. Dustin has a lot pressure with accepting and embracing his bisexuality. As with the stories in the past the secondary characters play a huge role and make a great impact on Dustin and Wes’ life. I was afraid to see how things would turn out but I needn’t worry this author always knows how to make true love win every time. This was a great addition to this series.
